Our mission is to elevate the quality of the soccer played by the youth of our community and to deliver a complete training experience that will allow each player to achieve their potential. Our focus and our efforts are on our players. This club exists for the benefit of our children and not for the benefit of any director, coach or volunteer. That simple philosophy separates us from the rest.
We are a non-profit youth soccer club, founded in 2005, based in the Newport-Mesa Unified School District. We compete in the Southern California Developmental Soccer League (SCDSL) -- the best league in SoCal for youth soccer.
We are passionate about this sport and we exist to teach our children how to play this great game with style and creativity. We teach a style of play that combines the deft touch and passion of the South American game with the power and athleticism of the European game. This is the beauty of American soccer. We do this through advanced coaching techniques and a competitive environment. Our staff of professional and certified coaches have been empowered with the directive that NMSC wants to develop the soccer and life skills of each individual child. Wins and losses will be secondary to Player (Person) Development. We want our teams to play attractive football -- collect the ball, work for your teammates, move it along the ground and finish with confidence. Learn to play the right way and we'll take you to the highest level that you can achieve. Whether your goal is to play in the Pros, College or on your High School Varsity, we have the staff and the means to get you there.
Each player selected to join the Newport Mesa Soccer Club WILL become a better player.......and they will ALSO become a better person.
