GU11 WAVES TAKE GOLD

NMSC Girls' U11 Waves pulled off a sweep of the Irvine Winter Classic this weekend, winning every game and giving up only two goals to take the Gold in Flight 1, outscoring their opponents 14-2.
 
Just a week after tryouts, it was the team's first competitive play under coach Leslie Bryant who will shepherd the team for the 2013 season. The Waves played a roster that included almost all of last year's team with a few new excellent players.  Congratulations to our girls and Leslie.  What a great way to start the year!
